Semi Permanent & Highsnobiety experience @ Sydney’s Paramount House Hotel

Interactive and immersive in-person experiences for artists, designers and creators to present a vision for the future.

Two days of interactive and immersive in-person experiences have been launched by Semi Permanent and Highsnobiety, 48-hour of Sydney’s Paramount House Hotel brings music, fashion, cinema, art and design under one roof with specially curated exhibitions, installations, talks, performances, film screenings, and tastings, and celebrates the people, brands and ideas driving change towards a better version of our future. Some of the experiences and exhibitions:
- a photography exhibition by filmmaker Gia Coppola;
- ‘Tiddalik’, an NFT exhibition from musician Flume and artist Jonathan Zawada;
- ‘Wave Relic’, a collaboration between surfboard designer Haydenshapes, artist Daniel Arsham and apparel designer Chris Stamp;
- ‘A Positive Message’, a multi-sensory pop-up by streetwear label P.A.M (Perks And Mini) and artist Cali DeWitt;
- a screening of Japanese-Australian musician Joji’s sold-out digital concert – ‘JOJI PRESENTS: THE EXTRAVAGANZA’.

Brand partners including Swedish electric vehicle company Polestar, pioneering Scotch whisky innovators Glenfiddich, and luxury travel and lifestyle brand RIMOWA, will take part in the event with completely original activations in collaboration with leading artists and creatives, overseen by Semi Permanent’s curatorial team. Highsnobiety will launch a digital extension of the hotel including exclusive content to a global audience, amplifying the reach of A Semi Permanent Hotel presented by Highsnobiety far beyond its physical footprint.

A curated talks programme, hosted by journalist and researcher Noelle Faulkner, will run as part of each audience session with a standout line-up of Australian creative talents.
